HC Deb 28 May 1891 vol 353 c1194
MR. CLANCY

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether the labourers and artisans in the employment of the Board of Works in the County and City of Dublin are paid less than the ordinary rates of wages at present prevailing in that district for those two classes of workmen respectively; and, if so, whether he will direct that the wages of the employés of the Board of Works referred to be increased, so as at least to make them equal with the wages paid by private firms?

MR. JACKSON

I have not been able to get this information. I hope the hon. Gentleman will put the question again.

MR. CLANCY

I will repeat it on Monday.
