President Krüger finds himself unable to check the Boer trek, owing to the fact that they number 20,000 instead of, as formerly reported, only 5,000. President Krüger, although entirely favourable to British interests, finds himself powerless to check the movement;and whether he has any information as to the truth of this statement; and, if so, what action Her Majesty's Government propose to take?
