WALTER M'LAREN (Cheshire, Crewe)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether with a view to prevent the waste of time caused by counts out when Private Members' Motions are being discussed, the Government will consider the advisability of asking the House to alter the Standing Orders governing business on Tuesday nights so as to allow Private Members' Bills to take precedence of 1068 Motions, and on Friday nights, so as to allow more than one Division to be taken on Motions or Amendments on going into Committee of Supply?
