COBBI beg to postpone the question of which I have given notice, 235 to ask the Postmaster General whether he is aware that in neighbourhoods where the Post Offices are closed at or about 8 o'clock in the evening many licensed victuallers are in the habit of obliging their customers by selling them postage stamps; and whether the licensed victuallers are liable to a penalty for selling postage stamps to their customers after the Post Offices are closed, or, in cases where there is no post offices in the immediate neighbourhood, at any time during the day?
