HC Deb 02 March 1891 vol 350 c1944
MR. COBB

I beg to ask the right hon. Gentleman the First Lord of the Treasury, in connection with the appointment of members of the Royal Commission on Labour, if he will be good enough to take into consideration whether anyone shall be appointed on that Commission who has some special knowledge of questions affecting the agricultural labourers, and who shall be someone in whom those labourers shall have complete confidence?

MR. W. H. SMITH

There is a question on the Paper for to-morrow on this subject, and I will then give an answer.
