HC Deb 23 June 1891 vol 354 c1203
MR. SCHWANN (Manchester, N.)

I wish to ask the Under Secretary of State for India whether it is true that the extra pension of £300 a year each has been granted to Mrs. Grimwood and Mrs. Quinton; whether they will be furnished out of Imperial or Indian resources; and, if out of Indian resources, on what ground such a charge will be thrown on the Indian Exchequer?

SIR J. GORST

The hypothesis on which the hon. Member has founded his question is inaccurate.
