HC Deb 15 June 1891 vol 354 c406
MR. SEXTON (Belfast, W.)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware of the complaints made as to the insufficient number of transfer and other stamps kept in stock at Belfast; and whether he will make inquiry into the matter, and give directions to have a larger supply in stock at Belfast?

MR. JACKSON

A complaint has been made respecting au insufficient supply of 10s. printed transfer forms at Belfast. The deficiency arose entirely through a most unusual demand for these stamps being made on the same day, but steps will be taken to prevent the stock running out again in such a manner. I may add that the stamping facilities about to be granted to Belfast will prevent any such inconvenience as arose on this occasion occurring again.
