§ MR. SUMMERSI beg to ask the Vice President of the Committee of Council on Education whether it is the intention of the Government, by Clause 5 of the Elementary Education Bill, to give School Boards power to remit the fees of all children under 5 and over 14 years of age?
§ SIR W. HART DYKESchool Boards will certainly have the power to remit fees in respect to such children, provided that this policy meets with the approval of the ratepayers.
