HC Deb 12 June 1891 vol 354 cc297-8
MR. TUITE (Westmeath, N.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will state the number of fair rent appeals from County Meath still undisposed of; the date on which notice the first of these appeals was sent to the Land Commission; and when and where the appeals will be heard?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

The Irish Land Commissioners report that there are 163 appeal cases from the County Meath awaiting hearing. The earliest of these was received by the Commission on February 20, 1888. It has been arranged to hear some of these cases on July 8 at Dublin.
