HC Deb 11 June 1891 vol 354 c162
MR. HENNIKER HEATON (Canterbury)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what is the total number of applications for the fixing of fair rents or of reduced rentals sent in to the Irish Land Commission and dealt with, respectively, since the passing of the Land Law (Ireland) Act of 1881; what is the total amount of the rentals in the cases decided by the Commissioners; and what is the total amount of the reductions in such rentals effected by the Commissioners' decisions?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

The Irish Land Commissioners refer to a table published at page 44 of their Report for the year 1890, which will probably be sufficient for the purposes of my hon. Friend.
