SEXTONI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what counties or other areas in Ireland are to be relieved from the operation of the Criminal Law and Procedure (Ireland) Act; what are the counties or other areas to remain under its operation; and what are the particular provisions to continue in force in such counties or other areas?
§ MR. A. J. BALFOURI think the counties and other areas, with the exception of County Clare and one or two baronies where boycotting and intimidation still exist, will be relieved from the operation of the Act.
