HC Deb 08 June 1891 vol 353 cc1920-1
MR. CONYBEARE (Cornwall, Camborne)

I should like to ask if the Government intend to proceed with this Bill? It has been on the Paper the whole Session. It is of great importance to India, and it is very unfair that the people should be kept in a state of uncertainty as to the Government's intention.

THE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. JACKSON,) Leeds, N.

I mast ask the hon. Member to put the question when the Under Secretary for India is in his place.

Second Reading deferred till Monday.
