BRYCE (Aberdeen, S.)I beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether he can state when the Scottish University Commissioners propose to present to Her Majesty their Special Report upon the questions affecting the theological faculties in the Scottish Universities; and whether, as soon as the Report has been presented, it, and the evidence taken upon the subject by the Commissioners, will be issued as a Parliamentary Paper?
§ *MR. J. P. B. ROBERTSONThe Commissioners have not yet settled the terms of their Report on this subject, but hope to do so on their re-assembling in the month of October. The hon. and learned Member will readily understand that until Her Majesty's commands have been received I am unable to answer the latter part of the question.
