HC Deb 27 January 1891 vol 349 c1144
MR. HOWARD VINCENT (Sheffield, Central)

I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the Public Trustee Bill, which has twice passed the Upper House, will be reintroduced; and if the Select Committee promised on the subject will be appointed in sufficient time to enable it to report sufficiently early for legislation on the subject to be effected in the course of the present Session?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Mr. GOSCHEN, St. George's, Hanover Square)

I trust that it will be reintroduced in the course of a very few days, and I think that the best course will be to refer it to the Standing Committee on Law.
