In answer to questions from Mr. T. W. RUSSELL and Mr. SEXTON,

MR. GOSCHEN

said: Sir, great progress has been made in collecting statistics with reference to the fiscal relations between Great Britain and Ireland, and when the inquiries are complete I propose to move for the reappointment of the Committee on that subject. Considerable time is necessary, both for the collection of the statistics and for checking them by actual experience. I think that when the Committee meet they will agree that the time so used has not been wasted.
