HC Deb 23 January 1891 vol 349 c892
COLONEL NOLAN (Galway, N.)

I beg to ask the Attorney General for Ireland whether his attention has been drawn to resolutions by the Tuam and the Glanamaddy Boards of Guardians pointing out the want of employment and the consequent distress to be apprehended from the shortness of last year's potato crop in those districts; and if he will soon institute in these districts local works of the character described in the Relief of Distress Bill?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. MADDEN, Dublin University)

I must ask the hon. and gallant Member to defer the question. I have called for a Report.

COLONEL NOLAN

I will repeat the question on Monday next.
