HC Deb 23 January 1891 vol 349 c892
MR. SYDNEY BUXTON (Tower Hamlets, Poplar)

I beg to ask the Vice President of the Committee of Council on Education whether he can inform the House on what day he proposes to introduce the Government Assisted Education Bill?

THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (Sir W. HART DYKE, Kent, Dartford)

In answer to the question of my hon. Friend, as the Assisted Education Bill involves financial considerations affecting the Budget, it will not be introduced before the Financial Statement of the Chancellor of the Exchequer has been made.
