Clause 2.

Amendment proposed, in page 1, line 24, to leave out from the word "Where,' to the word "borough," in line 25, inclusive, and insert the words— Section 4 of 'The County Electors Act, 1888' shall be deemed to have applied Section 30 of 'The Parliamentary and Municipal Registration Act, 1878,' to a parish situate in a Parliamentary but not in a municipal borough, and to have provided that."—(Mr. Knowles.)

Question again proposed, "That the words proposed to be left out stand part of the Clause."

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Chairman do report Progress, and ask leave to sit again."—(Mr. Craig.)

Objection being taken to Further Proceeding, the Chairman left the Chair, to make his report to the House.
