HC Deb 19 February 1891 vol 350 cc1064-5
MR. HOWORTH (Salford, S.)

I beg to ask the First Commissioner of Works whether his attention has been called to the extremely crowded and inconvenient character of the Reading Room, where it is often impossible to secure a seat or even standing room; and whether he can see his way to providing a more suitable apartment where Members can consult the newspapers?

٭ THE FIRST COMMISSIONER OF WORKS (Mr. PLUNKET, Dublin University)

I did provide an additional Reading Room on the Terrace a short time ago; I am sorry to say that I have not any space at my disposal for another.
