O'KEEFFE (Limerick)I beg to ask the Attorney General for Ireland if his attention has been directed to complaints raised by the Magistrates and Corporation of the City of Limerick to the practice of marching handcuffed, untried prisoners, principally charged with trivial offences, through the public streets of Limerick from the county gaol to the Court houses, a distance of nearly two miles; and if, in view of such complaints, he will direct that a covered vehicle be in future employed for such purpose, as in other cities?
