HC Deb 02 February 1891 vol 349 c1611

Order for Second Reading read.

(12.3.) MR. BRYCE (Aberdeen, S.)

As great interest is taken in this Bill, and it is desired to have a proper Debate on it, might I ask the Government if they would put it down as a first Order for some night, and to let us know when it will come on?

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. W. H. SMITH, Strand, Westminster)

I will consider the hon. Member's recommendation, and see how far it is possible to meet it.

Second Reading deferred till Thursday.
