HC Deb 04 August 1891 vol 356 c1255
MR. STACK

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what is the present position of the matter with regard to the proposed construction of a light railway from Listowel to Tarbert, in County Kerry; and what steps the Government propose to take in respect of it?

MR. MADDEN

A Memorial in favour of the construction of a light railway between Listowel and Tarbert was submitted locally to the Lord Lieutenant, and a resolution in favour of the same project has been passed by the Listowel Board of Guardians; but so far no definite scheme has been brought under the notice of the Government.
