§ THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE TOR INDIA (Sir J. GORST,) ChathamThe answer to the first question of the hon. Member is, Yes; in accordance with the Army Order of the 9th of March, 1891. The answer to the second question is, that they will be appointed direct from Sandhurst to the unattached list of the British Army. The answer to the third question is, Yes.
§ SIR G. CAMPBELLDo I understand the right hon. Gentleman to mean by " unattached" that they will not be attached to any regiment?
