That a number of shipwrecked British sailors had been impressed by the Government of the Argentine Republic into service at a life saving station; that they had tried to escape, but were closely watched, and subject to cruel treatment;and whether inquiries had been made to test the truth of the statement, and also the names of the ships to which the sailors belonged, and their release demanded?
