HC Deb 14 April 1891 vol 352 c476
MR. LLOYD-GEORGE (Carnarvon,, &c.)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury what is the nature of the provisions contained in the lease of the Gwylwyr Sett Quarry, Carnarvonshire, for enforcing the effective working of the quarry by the lessee; and especially, what is the minimum number of men the lessee is called upon by the terms of his lease to keep employed upon the quarry?

THE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. JACKSON, Leeds, N.)

I am informed that Clause 3 in the agreement makes provision for the efficient working of the quarry by the lessee, and requires it to be worked to the satisfaction of the lessor.
