HC Deb 13 April 1891 vol 352 c458

Order for Second Reading read.

(12.5.) THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR IRELAND (Mr. MADDEN, Dublin University)

I hope the House will allow this Bill to be read. Its object is useful and necessary, and it is accepted on both sides of the House.

MR. CONYBEARE

The right hon. and learned Gentleman used the 12 o'clock argument, to which I just now referred, and that argument is tenfold stronger against a Bill of this kind.

Second Reading deferred till tomorrow, at Two of the clock.
