HC Deb 13 April 1891 vol 352 c353
SIR J. SWINBURNE (Staffordshire, Lichfield)

I beg to ask the Postmaster General whether he will endeavour to make arrangements with the Government of Spain for the institution of a Parcel Post between this country and the principal ports of the Canary Islands?

MR. RAIKES

Correspondence has already taken place with the Spanish Government relative to the institution of a Parcel Post with the Canary Islands, but without success. The subject will not be lost sight of so far as my Department is concerned.
