THE CHAIRMAN

The Amendment which appears in the name of the hon. Member is outside the scope of the Bill.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill, as amended, be reported to the House."

DR. CLARK (Caithness)

Before the Bill is disposed of I must be allowed to express my astonishment that hon. Friends of mine who, thinking the Bill will do much harm, have placed Amendments on the Paper, are not now in their places to move them.

Question put, and agreed to.

Bill reported; as amended, to be considered to-morrow.
