ROWNTREEI beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board if arrangements can be made to furnish copies of the Medical Report of the Local Government Board to the Medical Officers of Health in the more important centres of population without 1686 imposing upon them the cost of procuring them as private individuals?

RITCHIEThe Local Government Board cannot undertake to supply generally to the Medical Officers of Health of the more important centres of population copies of the Reports of the Medical Officer of the Board as suggested. At the same time, I am fully aware that the Reports referred to would be of considerable assistance to the Medical Officers of Health in connection with their duties, and I think that the Sanitary Authorities would be justified in purchasing copies for the use of the authorities and their officers.
