§ MR. MATTHEWSThe resolution of the Mile End Vestry, which was in favour of closing Bow Cemetery, was referred by me to the Inspector of Burial Grounds, and he reports that, though the cemetery is gradually filling up, there is still room for common graves to be made. The cemetery has been placed under regulations sufficient to prevent any injury to the public health, and the Inspector has instructions to satisfy himself, by occasional visits, that these regulations are duly and fully observed.
