§ MR. LENG (Dundee)
I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will procure from the several colonies in Australia and New Zealand Reports on the various methods of regulating the liquor traffic in those colonies 1561 similar to the Foreign Office Reports Nos. 78 and 154 on Liquor Traffic Legislation in the United States?
§ THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COLONIES (Baron H. DE WORMS,) Liverpool, East Toxteth
The Secretary of State called for this information in August last from Canada, the Australian Colonies, and New Zealand, and reminded the Colonial Governments last March. So far, Queensland is the only colony from which a reply has been received.
