HC Deb 01 May 1890 vol 343 c1817
MR. MAC INNES (Northumberland, Hexham)

I beg to ask the Postmaster General for what public advantage the business of the Post Office at Horsley-on-Tyne has been removed from the place where it has been conducted for many years to the satisfaction of the neigh bourhood?

*THE POSTMASTER GENERAL (Mr. RAIKES,) Cambridge University

In consequence of the resignation of the Sub-Postmaster at Horsley, the Post Office in that village has been removed to his successor's premises. I am not aware that the removal has caused any public inconvenience.
