HC Deb 11 March 1890 vol 342 c506
MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN (Stirling Burghs)

May I ask whether an opportunity can be given for the discussion of the Religious Disabilities Bill, which stood first on the Paper on Wednesday last, but could not be taken owing to the action of the Government with regard to the debate on the Report of the Special Commission?

* MR. W. H. SMITH

I cannot undertake to offer an opportunity for the discussion of a Bill which is not a Government measure. I may repeat that the Session is still young, and I hope the right hon. Gentleman may have another opportunity in the course of the Session of taking the opinion of the House on the Bill in question.
