HC Deb 06 March 1890 vol 342 c134
MR. PETER M'DONALD (Sligo, N.)

I beg to ask the Attorney General for Ireland, if he has any information as to the alleged defalcations of an official of certain Dublin Hospitals; and, if so, whether he proposes to instruct the proper authority to take action in the matter?

MR. MADDEN

Warrants are in the hands of the-police for the arrest of the person charged; but they have so far not succeeded in tracing him. They will, of course, continue to make every effort to do so.

MR. SEXTON

In this instance was the issue of the warrant, as in another case, delayed until the person implicated had left the country?

MR. MADDEN

I can only say that every possible effort has been made to bring the individual in question to justice.
