Ordered, That the Committee of Selection do appoint a Committee, not exceeding 11 Members, to whom shall he committed all Private Bills promoted by Municipal and other Local Authorities, by which it is proposed to create powers relating to Police and Sanitary Regulations which deviate from, or are in extension of, or are repugnant to, the General Law.

Ordered, that Standing Order 173a he applicable to all Bills referred to the said Committee.

Ordered, That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers, and records.

Ordered, that five be the quorum of the Committee.—(Mr. Stuart Worthy.)
