§ MR. WATTI beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether the Government have any objections to the publication of a Return of the private secretaries to Ministers since 1869 who have received permanent appointments in the Public Services?
§ MR. JACKSONThe Government have no objection to give the information, but, as the wording of the Return would have to be first considered, I desire that the hon. Member should speak with me if he wishes to proceed further.
