§ MR. A. J. BALFOURThe Land Commissioners report that there were 143 cases listed for the sitting of the Appeal Court in Belfast, on April 28, 1890. Of these, 20 were cross appeals, leaving 123 cases to be disposed of at the sitting, and that the list was disposed of as follows:—Withdrawn, settled, or struck out for non-appearance, 54; orders of Sub-Commissioners confirmed after hearing, 52; originating notices dismissed on legal grounds, five; rents raised, five; order of dismissal of originating notice reversed, one; adjourned at request of parties, four; remaining for judgment, two; total, 123.
