HC Deb 27 February 1890 vol 341 c1324
MR. BUCHANAN

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether he has received communications complaining that "The Presumption of Life Limitation (Scotland) Act, 1881," is in great measure inoperative; and whether he will introduce a Bill this Session to amend that Act?

THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. J. P. B. ROBERTSON, Bute)

I have recently received a communication to the effect stated in the question of the hon. Member. I cannot at present give any undertaking as to the introduction of an amending Bill this Session, and this must depend upon the progress of other business.
