§ MR. BAUMANNI beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury when the scheme recommended by the Postmaster General for the improvement of the position of the telegraph engineering inspectors, which was under the consideration of the Treasury in June last, will be sanctioned?
§ MR. JACKSONI am unable to say that the scheme referred to by the hon. Member will be sanctioned; but the pre liminary difficulties which prevented the Treasury from coming to a decision have quite recently been removed, and I hope shortly to communicate the Treasury decision to the Postmaster General.
