HC Deb 20 February 1890 vol 341 c751
MR. CUNINGHAME GRAHAM

I bog to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if the Government has now determined to allow the British Delegates to discuss the International Regulation of the Hours of Labour at either the Berne or Berlin Conferences?

SIR J. FERGUSSON

Her Majesty's Government have not yet replied to the invitations addressed to them by the German and Swiss Governments; and until those replies have been received it would not be proper, to state their purport.

MR. C. GRAHAM

May I ask whether hon. Members will have to wait any long time for information?

SIR J. FERGUSSON

No; I think not.
