MORGAN (Battersea)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he would state what was the number of cases under the Sale of Food and Drugs and the Margarine Acts which have been brought before the magistrates sitting at the Wandsworth Police Court during the past year, and the amount of fines inflicted in the various cases?
§ MR. MATTHEWSThere were 23 cases under the Food and Drugs Act and 13 under the Margarine Act. I shall be happy to show the hon. Member a Return of the fines inflicted in each case.
