HC Deb 14 February 1890 vol 341 cc306-7
MR. BARTLEY (Islington, N.)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether any Correspondence has passed between the Treasury and the London County Council on the subject of the purchase of a site for offices for that body under the Act of last year; and, if so, whether he will lay the Correspondence upon the Table before sanctioning any expenditure?

THE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. JACKSON, Leeds, N.)

There has been no Correspondence between the Treasury and the London County Council on the subject of the purchase of a site for offices for the Council under the Act of last Session.
