HC Deb 09 December 1890 vol 349 c762
MR. LAWSON

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether, on the re-assembling of Parliament, he will ask the House to appoint a Select Committee to consider the various Public and Private Bills affecting the water supply of the Metropolis, and the method of assessing the charges thereon, introduced this Session?

MR. W. H. SMITH

The Government are not in a position to state what course they will advise the House to adopt with regard to the various Bills affecting the water supply of the Metropolis until the Bills have been printed and are before the House.
