HC Deb 09 December 1890 vol 349 c761
MR. ERNEST SPENCER (West Bromwich)

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Agriculture if he has yet received any of Professor Koch's fluid for the cure of tubercular diseases; and whether it can be obtained, on application to the officials of his Department, by the authorities of recognised public institutions?

THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE (Mr. CHAPLIN, Lincolnshire, Sleaford)

The Board of Agriculture has applied for a small quantity of Professor Koch's fluid for purposes of experiment upon animals, but we have not yet received it, and, consequently, it cannot be obtained on application to the officials of the Department.
