I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any, and what, decision has been arrived at by Her Majesty's Government as to the contribution to be paid by Ceylon towards the Military expenditure incurred in the Island, especially with reference to the expenditure incurred for Imperial purposes on Trincomalee, one of the head-quarter stations of the British Navy in Indian waters?
