Resolution reported— That it appears, by the Accounts laid before this House, that the Total Revenue of India for the year ending 31st day of March, 1889, was Rx.81,696,678; that the Total Expenditure in India and in England charged to the Revenue was Rx.81,659,660; that there, was a Surplus of Revenue over Expenditure of Rx.37,018; and that the Capital Outlay on Railways and Irrigation Works was Rx.1,638,001, besides a Capital Charge of Rx. 10,336,049 involved in the Redemption of Liabilities.
