HC Deb 21 April 1890 vol 343 c972
MR. OCTAVIUS V. MORGAN (Battersea)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when it is intended to commence the erection of the new Police Court in Battersea?

MR. MATTHEWS

I am informed by the Office of Works that the plans for the Wandsworth new police court are almost ready. A sum of £5,000 is included in the Estimate for this financial year, and the Office of Works will commence the work about August, so as not to incur a greater expenditure than has been allotted for the purposes of this court.
