HC Deb 13 May 1889 vol 335 c1860
MR. BAUMANN (Camberwell, Peckham)

asked the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will undertake to lay upon the Table of the House a full and authentic report of the speech delivered by Sir Hercules Robinson at a farewell banquet in the Cape Colony?

In answer to my hon. Friend, I have to say that the Secretary of State regrets that he does not see his way to comply with his request. Sir Hercules Robinson is now on his way home, and his views will be laid before the Secretary of State and fully considered by Her Majesty's Government.
