Anglesey was brought down to the figure of only 45 tons, by deductions and allowances from her gross measurement of 827 tons; and similar figures for the Duchess of Sutherland, showing how, with an original gross measurement of 908 tons, and net register of 446 tons, when she was a paddle steamer, her net register is now brought down to only 111 tons since her conversion into a screw steamer?
