HC Deb 26 March 1889 vol 334 cc857-8

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That Mr. Speaker do now leave the Chair."

SIR G. CAMPBELL (Kirkcaldy)

Mr. Speaker, I rise to move as an Amendment the Motion which stands in my name, namely:— That the growing system of Trusts and Syndicates to raise by combination and conspiracy the cost of articles of common consumption requires the immediate and serious attention of Her Majesty's Government and of Parliament.

Order, order. That has no reference to the Civil Service Estimates.

Question put, and agreed to.
